Our Location

New Paltz Wide View

Located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, only 90 minutes north of New York City, SUNY New Paltz offers the best of both worlds by allowing students to experience a traditional American college campus while being just a train or bus ride away from Times Square. Our campus offers a beautiful view of the Shawangunk Mountains and easy access to outdoor recreation such as hiking, kayaking, climbing and biking as well as a variety of restaurants, specialty shops, historic sites, and local entertainment venues in a quaint village.

There are thirteen residence halls on campus, centered mostly in two quads.  The main campus has two dozen buildings and extensive athletic and sports areas.  We warmly invite you to join us on a virtual tour of our campus.
