General Information
If you are reading this, then likely you have been offered and have accepted a TA/GA position at SUNY New Paltz. Congratulations!
If you are eligible AND you elect to purchase the Student Employee Health Plan (SEHP) through the New York State Health Insurance Plan (NYSHIP), you can request a waiver of your REQUIRED International Student Health Insurance. You will need to upload a scan or picture of the email you received from Human Resources asproof of SEHP enrollment, AND you will need to enroll and pay for a Global Emergency Services assistant program insurance policy offered through SUNY (this policy rider covers the required policy details that the SEHP does not cover). The costs associated with this policy are currently $6.71 a month.
You will be required to be enrolled for the entire time you are enrolled in the Student Employee Health Insurance policy.
